There are three things that always top our worklife lists here at DesignTonic HQ - designing amazing interiors, collaborating with inspirational clients… and dogs!
So imagine our delight when we got to combine all three, working alongside the brilliant team at Pawsome Paws Boutique Ltd to design the perfect base for them and their canine buddies.
In a newly acquired building, founders Jason and Sophie tasked us with designing their perfect - sorry, paw-fect - HQ, a forever-home where the design bursts with the brand’s fresh and funky persona and is filled with inspirational touches to keep the team fired up as they continue their rapid growth.
And needless to say, with Pawsome Paws Boutique’s incredible presence on social media growing every day, it also needed to be picture perfect for all those Insta and TikTok moments!
Here’s how we approached this design…
All work and no play? No way…
Key to Pawsome Paws Boutique’s fabulous designs is the strength of their teamwork, so this design called for plenty of space for staff to get together, bounce ideas and get creative - and all with plenty of poppy colour and fun visuals thrown into the mix!
Our talented craftspeople built a series of booths, all finished in soft-toned oak cladding and featuring plush, padded seating in an on-brand pink and gorgeous task lighting courtesy of stylish gold-and-cream globe pendants.
Breakout time
As with all our commercial interior schemes, it was as important to include space for downtime as it was to build places to get productive.
Sat next to the booth seating, we incorporated a stylish breakfast bar within the kitchenette area. With their quirky look and innovative construction, Kartell Masters stools in a fabulous deep green are sure to fire the imagination, while also bringing a touch of contrast to the gentle hues of the rest of the office space.
And along the far wall, further informal seating is sited against a fabulous oak panelled wall and mirrors the luxurious finishes seen elsewhere in the design, with ergonomic cushioning and contemporary metal chairs in the same deep pink, and space-maximising circular tables which mix elegant metallics and lush marble.
On-brand looks
Pawsome Paws Boutique is well-known for its happy, vibrant designs - and with a generous splash of pink in the mix, this office scheme is the perfect on-brand pairing.
In a creative environment, red-based colours are known to stimulate and inspire, but too much of such a strong tone can be overwhelming.
Instead, by using the brand’s predominant pink tone, we can tap into the warmth and energy of red, but without the intensity.
Alongside lots of pink accents - plus a fabulously Insta-worthy floral wall complete with neon logo - we’ve kept the space bright, clean and mellow with pale ash flooring and plenty of light oak detailing.
The result? A joyful, playful scheme which mixes the best of red’s inspirational qualities with the calm, optimism and friendliness of pink.

Doggy DayCare
And where would a space dedicated to doggy design be without plenty of thought given to the comfort of our canine friends?
We think the picture above of Reuben and Betsy, Pawsome’s cuddliest team members, kicking back in the breakout space says it all, don’t you? ;)
