To design and deliver the communal amenity spaces within an 82-bed purpose-built student accommodation development in York. The aim was to create modern, welcoming, and functional areas that support student wellbeing, encourage social interaction and provide flexible environments for study, collaboration, and relaxation.

The completed spaces are cohesive, contemporary, and student-focused. The integration of bespoke joinery, carefully selected furniture, and natural finishes ensures a consistent design language across all amenity areas. The living wall adds both a visual statement and a wellbeing benefit, while social and study zones are tailored to feel practical, comfortable, and inviting. The end result is a set of flexible spaces that encourage connection, collaboration, and downtime for residents.
