Design Tonic was appointed by York Racecourse to transform the Knavesmire Stand Boxes, enhancing the venue’s premium hospitality offering ahead of the 2026 racing season.
The brief was to create a high-end, flexible environment capable of accommodating a wide range of events — from intimate gatherings to large corporate bookings — while elevating the overall guest experience.
With a capacity of up to 280 guests and panoramic views across the course, the space needed to reflect the prestige of one of the UK’s most iconic racecourses, while delivering modern functionality and adaptability.
